Build your own 3D world. Code it, add sound and AI characters, and show it off at the big show. Every lesson lives here.
Every game from class, in one place. They work best on a laptop.
XRCamp After School is a youth program from MUD Foundation, a Miami nonprofit that runs accessible art and technology programs at the convergence of internet, data, and immersive technology. Students build their own 3D worlds on the MUD XR Platform.
Students learn the history of computers and XR, character and space design, 3D modeling in Tinkercad and Blender, XR world-building, coding interactions, spatial sound, AI agents, and how to exhibit their work.
Twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, for 90 minutes. The year runs in two cycles, fall and spring.
In the fall, each student builds a Character Lair: a 3D world with their own character, interactions, and sound. In the spring, they build a larger world with AI agents and branching paths.
Each cycle ends with a public showcase where students present their worlds to families and guests.
